What to Expect

As a writer posting his work in a blog format, short creative writing pieces are the most logistically friendly. I love writing short stories and poetry, and will try to keep the creative content flowing. I also have some great ideas for extended stories that would span across several posts. This approach is primarily inspired by the work of cracked.com editor Daniel O'Brien's online masterpiece, Bartender (it's a great read: truly worth it.) For those interested in contemporary culture (aren't we all?) you'll also find reviews on music and movies along with analyses of both.
As hypothesized— and in my humble opinion, quite clearly proven—by Malcolm Gladwell in his bestseller "Outliers", the key to mastery is 10,000 hours of practice. Mr. Gladwell: I accept your implied challenge. I will become a master writer with these readers as my witnesses.
For those readers in tune with internet memes.

My First Post!

Very excited to begin blogging using blogger. In this blog I'll be focusing on creative writing—finally getting all of the many ideas, drafts, and completed pieces I have written into one organized spot along with a continuing stream of writing. So you, my dear reader, will have a huge variety of creative content at your fingertips. Hopefully you'll enjoy what you read, or maybe even be inspired to begin a blog of your own or write your own pieces. At the end of the day, I'm here to publish my passion so it is available to you.
Happy reading!
